Jelise's 1st birthday

Time flown so fast and my daughter, Jelise turned one year old just like that. Well, I'm inclined towards a colourful childish themed party so I chose candy land theme for her. I did the planning and I'm so blessed that my husband supported me all the way. I've always wanted a picturesque backdrop and lively decors where people will feel light and happy as they enter the dainty venue.

Her birthday is July 2 which fell on a weekday so we decided to held her party on a weekend particularly July 7, Sunday, so that guests were able to come especially the kids. On her actual birthday, we had an early morning mass then we cooked her some handa in the afternoon.

I was actually thinking to have separate suppliers and some will just be bought by us for a cheaper cost but we ended up getting one supplier for all the non-catering package for our convenience.
The venue which is just near in our house has its own in-house cater. I also hired Potato Corner sponsored by my brother and Sorbetes sponsored by my mother. I hired EandK Events Planner for the non-cater that covers the backdrop, entrance arch, ceiling balloons, cake & cupcakes, host, face paint, candy buffet, hotdog food cart, loot bags for kids, prizes for kids games, party hats & gallery. My husband was kinda hesitant or just careful for we might get scammed with any of the supplier but ever since I saw the page of EandK on facebook, I knew right there and then that I like what they could offer and their good reviews made me feel secure. I just made my diy invitation again and we bought the pillow souvenirs for adults and some prizes for adult games in Divisoria.

I loved the decorations from the entrance up to inside. It meant a colourful and joyful celebration.

Before the program begun, we let the guests have some pica-pica and started the face painting for kids.

After the opening prayer and my welcome remarks, the games for kids and adults followed. The program was also from EandK.

After picture taking per table, the most awaited part is eating time. We have separate menu for kids.

The program resumed and what I liked also was the bubble show for it was my first time to experience it.

We capped-off the day with my closing remarks.

Above all, I'm grateful that my husband were able to join us on this celebration before he flew the next day for abroad. God is our great provider of everything. He made this day a dream come true. Thank You God!
