Vista Minmar

Before my family left again for Guam we went for an outing. We rarely have this chance to be together so we didn't let this summer pass without family bonding.

I had been searching for more or less 30 resorts in Batangas  for the past few days for our outing venue. It was really hard to select because I was looking for a beautiful resort that suits our budget. Some were fully booked on our chosen date. Some were quite expensive but I think the facilities do not compensate the price whereas cheaper ones do not look so good to me until I find Vista Minmar that immediately caught my attention. Thank God the resort was still available and definitely within the budget.

Vista Minmar, a mini Santorini inspired resort is situated in Brgy. Imelda, Laiya, Batangas. Our travel heading there took long for it is secluded yet I've proven from my trips that awesome places are also hidden. Upon arrival, we were mesmerized by its appearance which make our trip worth it. The idyllic sight greeted us.

We were the only guests at that time so it seemed we rented the whole resort. It is also a venue for pre-nup shoot.

Standard Rates:
Big Villa -     P12,000 per night maximum of 10 pax
Small Villa - P6,000 per night maximum of 5 pax
Day tour -     P500/pax (weekdays only)
If w/ room, 50% of standard room rate
Pre-nup -      standard room rate applies

The picturesque view of infinity pool is the best. Picture perfect. I had a picture taking with my daughter. There was no network signal but as per Ara, the caretaker, there is a signal upstairs in the parking lot. The place is quiet and tranquil, the right one if you want to recharge, disconnect and unwind.

Night view

The resort is full of stairs, going to the pool, villa and the beach, not so ideal for senior citizens who have weak knees but wait, soon they are going to construct a ramp for pwd, a good thing huh. They can easily access anywhere without going too hard. On the other hand, going up & down was also a great kind of workout. There is a jacuzzi in the middle of the swimming pool but it wasn't working at that time. Nevertheless, it was okay.

The Villa

We rented a big villa. It's a plus that there were tables and chairs outside where we dined while we breathe the fresh air. The villa is complete with living room, dining and sleeping area including 2 toilet & bath on the 1st and 2nd floor. There is one separate room on the 2nd floor and  beds outside fit for everybody. There was also another extra mattress. There's a gastove where you can cook or reheat food, some cooking wares were also available but you have to bring your own utensils. It really feels like home.

The Beach

We've planned to go to the beach the next morning. I was also about to go down but my uncle didn't allow us to go with them because the stairs is so steep and have no railings and my auntie and I have babies. I felt bad that I really wanted to see the beach but I just can't. Moreover, our babies safety is much important. The owner said that they are also going to put railings soon. A big factor that they will do what needs to be improved to be more of better service including network signal. I wonder also how a  bride-to-be managed to go down to the beach wearing long gown for their pre-nup shoot. Anyway, the beach isn't powdery nor fine sand but it gives a charming and relaxing view. Others go for a snorkeling. It was low tide that morning so they didn't opt to swim.

They also have videoke and beanbag area with fire pit perfect for barkada bonding.

Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay here. The care takers were kind and approachable. The owner kept in touch during  the outing. Being together in a lovely place is really one unforgettable summer.
