Caliraya Resort Club: Team Building Venue

I organized our company team building held last March and upon many research and choices, we came up to this venue. I was assisted eagerly by the Sales Manager through calls and constant e-mails. Aside from the team building activities and swimming pools, they still have lots to offer such as zipline, skybicycle, horseback riding, fishing, wall climbing &  rappelling including water activities like kayak, canoe, etc. but it all have separate payment. The resort is situated in Brgy. Lewin, Lumban, Laguna and a 3 hour drive from Taguig and we got it 2.5 hour homeward.



We had an overnight accommodation on a weekend were check-in time is  2:00 p.m. and check-out of 12:00 p.m. the following day. Our package includes rooms and buffet meals (dinner, breakfast & lunch) and covers free amenities like slip & slide, slide pinoy, hanging bridge, use of swimming pool, earth ball and obstacle course. On the other hand, team building activity will be an add-on payment that starts from P120/pax.

We arrived in the venue past 1:00 in the afternoon. From the parking lot, we rode a ferry boat for about 2-3 minutes across the lake to transfer us to Caliraya Resort. We were lucky that we were allowed to enter into our rooms though it was not yet 2:00 p.m.  I also ordered snack for us beforehand but it was separate payment for it was not included in the package so  we took our snack first in order to have the energy to perform the activities. And because of the vast area, there's a jeep available where you can ride for free every time you want to hop from one place to another but if you want to get some exercise, you can just walk so you can explore the area more.

After resting for a couple of hours, we started our team building games at 4:00 p.m. so we'll still have the chance to explore the venue the next day. There were many guests that time who were also conducting their team building but it didn't matter. We just had to wait for our last game which is the earth ball as there were some who is occupying the said facility plus there was an on-going tv shoot.

The day after, our employees tend to avail the amenities but me, I just wanted to relax, ramble around and savor the fresh air. The place is filled with lush greens and picturesque lake view.

Overall, I still recommend Caliraya Resort Club, Inc. for team building venue, it's just that the food went below my expectation, Nevertheless, our stay turned out so good that our employees really enjoyed.
