Singapore - Malaysia DIY Trip

Hi everyone! How have you been preparing for Christmas? I've been very busy and got so occupied with work but I don't want this month come to pass without sharing my first out of the country travel experience.

One afternoon in the office, my colleague had seen an airline promo to Hongkong but when she was about to book, the promo was no longer available. So after browsing, she found a promo to Singapore. Right there and then, us being impulsive, had booked ourselves a flight going to Singapore. Lost in thought, that the country is an expensive one to visit. We have also inquired thru travel agency about the tour package but still the quotation was expensive so we decided for a d-i-y tour.

DIY bridal shower props

We threw a mini bridal shower for my Sister-In-Law. Since our spa party didn't push through, we just decided to spend it at my cousins house. Because I am fond of crafts, I utilized again the resources I have at home to come up with these simple props.

Boracay Experience

There's beauty that lies behind sunset which I'm fond of that I cannot explain. I just feel that its stunning view soothes me. And I've heard that sunset is best seen in Boracay. And I believe that these photos have proven what they say.

What do I love about blogging?

One day, I accidentally browsed a fashion blog and eventually I regularly read the updates until I follow another blogs. Suddenly, I felt an urge to have my own blog too so when I've heared about the free blogging on blogspot.com from my colleague, I started to create my own right away and explored it myself.

Luljetta's Hanging Gardens and Spa

I've wanted to celebrate our first wedding anniversary in a relaxing and pampering way and I love to be with nature so I chose to book at Luljetta's Hanging Gardens and Spa which is located inside Loreland Farm Resort in Antipolo, one of its hidden gem as they say. It's the first ever hanging gardens in the Philippines. We've availed an overnight package but the stay in Luljetta's is just for seven hours inclusive of meals and use of all the amenities.

Harbour Square

Coming from a seminar we have attended, we went straight to Harbour Square in CCP Complex, Malate, Manila which is just a walking distance from the hotel where we had the forum in order to dine while waiting for our service.

I've always wanted to go here but I never had the chance until one day I was surprised that this was just near Hotel Jen so I took the opportunity to see it since we're going to wait also.

Well, it's a nice view where you can just chill around.

Rasta Corner Review

Rasta Corner is a house & garage turned into a restaurant located in Brgy. Calzada, Tipas, Taguig City.

One Friday after office hours, we headed on to Tipas to try out the food it has to offer although I've read bad reviews about the serving time. We have an office mate who lives near Rasta so she accompanied us on our way getting there.

 You will be entertained by the band as you wait for the food and while taking pictures as well. Though non air-conditioned venue still it's a cool place to hangout especially if you are residing just within the area.

Puesto del Sol

One summer of 2012, my brother had booked a reservation for us thru Metrodeal in Puesto Del Sol which is located at the hilltop of Calatagan, Batangas. We've stayed there overnight with my family. It is accessible from the Metro so if you want to disconnect with the hustle of the city you may opt to unwind here. Getting close to nature and breathe with fresh air are sometimes what we need. The resort is quiet, relaxing and the view is oh so charming.

There are two infinity pools.

DIY (do-it-yourself) Prenup Props

Because I'm fond to style, design & decorate, instead of hiring a stylist for our e-session taken in Sierra Madre, I just styled our outfits and made my own props using the resources I've seen in our house.
