Ilocos Tour: Last Day

This is my final installment of our tour in Ilocos. If you haven't yet  read my previous posts of our tour, you can read it  here and here

Ilocos is rich in old churches. We first visited the Sta. Monica Parish in Sarrat and located beside the church is the Museo Diocesano De Laoag.

We then went to Marcos Museum but we just had a glimpse of it outside. We didn't explore inside the museum since we wanted to go back to Manila as early as possible because we need to go to work the next day so we just went to few remaining places.

We opted to roam around the famous Malacanang of the North or Malacanang Ti Amianan in Ilocano in Paoay, it had been the residence of the family of Ferdinand Marcos when He was the President of the Philippines and now it is converted into a Museum. You have to pay the entrance fee first to visit inside the house.

My favorite part of the house was the beautiful view of the garden and Paoay Lake. It feels so relaxing just by sitting down while looking at the lake while being kissed with the fresh air.

Seeing pieces of our history in Ilocos made its 12 hour travel time all worth it.
